Robert Michael Pyle

A Ph.D. in ecology from Yale University, Robert Pyle now lives in Gray's River, Washington. Author of eight books, including Wintergreen (winner of the John Burroughs Medal), The Thunder Tree, and The Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Butterflies, Pyle is currently editing a book of Nabokov's writings on butterflies.
