Associated Students of GHC Welcomes You!
Hello everyone, my name is Forrest Gonzalez. I am very enthusiastic and eager to be representing you and the rest of the student body as the Executive Board President. I want to take this time to welcome you to Grays Harbor College.
The faculty here at Grays Harbor College is top notch. They have worked very hard to make your education as convenient and enjoyable as possible so you can succeed, not only here, but also in your future endeavors. Grays Harbor College has many programs to help you achieve your goals. The Learning Center has specialty tutors for most major subjects, and thankfully they always have a math tutor on duty to help. There is also the TRiO Office which is always bustling with fun and helpful people. They not only help students plan and prepare for their college experience, but also their experiences after. GHC has many extracurricular opportunities, ranging from athletics to the Table Top Gaming Club. If you would like to do it, there is a chance we’ll have it.
If you are looking to be involved or connect to the campus life at GHC, stop by the Student Life Office in the Hillier Union Building (HUB). There you can find information about clubs and events throughout the year. If you would like to sign up for these free or limited cost activities that student leaders organize for your enjoyment, stop in and get more details. We are always welcoming the involvement of students. Your tenure here should be fun and exciting, it is college, enjoy it. This is your time and your college; you deserve to have a voice in it.
Being a part of Student Services, Student Leadership’s mission is to empower you to achieve your goals academically, personally, and professionally. I hope you take advantage of everything Grays Harbor College has to offer to become the best you can be. The Executive Board and I would like to cordially welcome you to Grays Harbor College.
The Executive Board and I want to welcome you to a great year at Grays Harbor College.
