Welcome to the GHC Athletics Program

Academic Excellence

  1. The Athletic Department at Grays Harbor College is committed to academic excellence. Student-athletes are required to turn in periodic grade check forms to be reviewed by their coach.

  2. If a grade check is less than satisfactory, the coach will read the reasons listed by the professor under the Recommendations for Improvement category. Based on the information, the student will be asked to cooperate with a Targeted Study Plan of Action.

  3. If the following grade checks reveal that the student-athlete has not improved, the student-athlete will then be asked to cooperate with a Student-Athlete Weekly Study Plan.

We believe that the student-athlete is not managing time efficiently if they do not improve their results after reaching step 2. They must be held accountable to a time-management chart to ensure that all athletes are efficiently maximizing their time at Grays Harbor College.

GO CHOKERS!
