Meet the Coaches
Tom Sutera begins his fifth year with the Choker Fastpitch Team. Tom grew up in Grays Harbor County and graduated from Montesano High School in 1983. He has been involved with coaching summer age group softball for ten years. Tom is married to Kelly Sutera and they have two children, Alyssa (17) and Robbie (9). Although busy as head coach for Grays Harbor, Tom also supports his family by attending their activities.
Steve Hyde also begins his fifth season with the Choker Fastpitch Team. Steve is a alumnus of Hoquiam High School where he graduated in 1981. He is involved with many different sports activities, including coaching baseball 15 yrs, football for 7 yrs, wrestling for 4 yrs, and girl’s fastpitch for 7 yrs. Steve and his family live in Aberdeen.
Softball Home games are played at the Bishop Sports Complex in Aberdeen

Smith Drive, Aberdeen, WA 98520Grays Harbor College belongs to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) which is comprised of the 32 community colleges in Washington and Oregon that compete in athletics. The NWAACC is divided into four regions, Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western. Grays Harbor is in the Western Region.
