June 18, 2013. The athletic department asked the Carpentry Program to do several projects for them this Spring. They wanted the old batting cages demolished and cleaned up, and they wanted a new dugout and shed built on the GHC ball field. This was a great project for the students, giving them some real world experience and provided a great learning environment for the students. Great job carpenters!

September 24, 2012. Fall quarter is upon us. 122 and above students are hard at work already learning about and constructing rafter systems. 121 students are drafting and building their 3 box project. The year is off to a great start..

June 8, 2012. One of the final projects for Spring Quarter 2012 is for a team of two to build two 8' walls. One is a butt wall and one is a through wall. One with a door, and one with a window.
