Checklist to Start Your Education at GHC

""1.   Apply for Admission:

Fill out an application and send it to the GHC Admissions Office.
Applications may be completed
Online, in-person, or by mail.
To obtain a mail-in application, you may download it, or call the Office of Admissions and Records at (360) 538-4026
.

 

""2.   Request Official Transcripts.

Transcripts are required from your high school or GED and any previous colleges. Have your transcripts sent directly to the Grays Harbor College Admissions Office, 1620 Edward P. Smith Drive, Aberdeen, WA 98520.

 

""3.   Take the College Placement Test (CPT).

This is an admission requirement.
The CPT helps evaluate your skill level so that you can start with the classes you need to be successful.
Make an appointment to take the CPT and have it interpreted by a counselor by calling the Counseling and Advising Center at
(360) 538-4099.
This is not necessary if you have completed 100 level Math and English classes (or higher) at another college.

 

""4.   Sign up for Entry Advising.

Call the Counseling and Advising Center at (360) 538-4099 to make an appointment for entry advising, orientation, and registration.

 

 

""5.   Apply For Financial Aid.

Applying for financial aid has never been easier.
All students applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This application establishes your level of eligibility for federal and state grants, loans and work-study programs.
