College Placement Testing (CPT)
What is the College Placement Test (CPT)?
A tool to help us determine your skill level in reading, English, and mathematics.
What is it used for?
To determine which courses are most appropriate to begin your first quarter at Grays Harbor College.
Can it keep me from getting in to Grays Harbor College?
No. It is not an admissions test or an intelligence test.
Does everyone need to take it?
Yes, unless you are transferring in college level credits in English or math, or plan to take only classes with no math, English or reading pre-requisites.
What does it cost?
Beginning January 9th 2012 Grays Harbor College will be charging $10.00 for the College Placement Test. If you take part of the CPT the charge will be $5.00 per section. Retakes will be $5.00 per section with a maximum of $10.00. Please call 360-538-4049 if you need more information.
