Text Box:      Confused about what classes to take?  Are you taking general education courses but not certain that they will transfer or work towards a degree?

Students with 25 or more credits should meet with their advisor during advising week, Nov. 9-16. Students with less than 25 credits should meet with their advisor during “Advising Day” - Nov. 17th.  If you don’t know who your permanent advisor is, stop by Admissions and Records.

Many students will earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.), an Associate of Science (A.S.), or an Associate in Business (A.B.) before transferring to a 4-year college or university. Depending on the degree you choose and the institution to which you transfer, an A.A., A.S., or A.B. will often fulfill all the general education requirements for a Bachelors degree, allow you to transfer a full 90 credits, and give you an admission advantage over students who do not complete a degree at a community college.
Choosing classes that will work toward a major is important.  An application with
