Standard of Academic Progress
Students who receive financial aid at Grays Harbor College must
be making satisfactory academic progress in an eligible degree
or certificate program offered by the college. Federal regulations
require us to review your entire Grays Harbor College academic
record to determine if you are making satisfactory progress according
to the following criteria, including quarters when you did not receive financial
aid.
- There are expectations You must maintain a 2.0 grade
point average (G.P.A.) each quarter.
- You are also required to earn the number of credits upon which
your financial aid award is based each quarter. You must have
earned a total of at least 50% of all previous credits attempted
at Grays Harbor College
- You may attempt a total of 25% more credits than are required
to complete your degree or certificate program at Grays Harbor
College. If you do not complete your program within this maximum,
you will have exhausted your eligibility for future financial
aid.
