deserving students to realize their educational goals by offering scholarship
assistance and strong support of the academic environment of the college.
Goals:
- Build
a stable base of support that will fund scholarships
- Provide
support for faculty and staff advancement opportunities
- Offer
means of furthering community and alumni involvement.
Foundation
Board of Directors
Grays
Harbor College Foundation board members invest in the Twin Harbors’
most important resource, its people. One of the oldest community college
foundations in the state, the GHC Foundation was formed in the early
1960s and continues with the original purpose of encouraging, promoting
and supporting the educational scholastic and community service programs
offered through Grays Harbor College.
The State
of Washington provides public funds for community colleges, yet private
support creates a stronger community educational resource. The Foundation
lends the ability to respond with flexibility to community, instructional
and scholarship needs. With the investment of time and involvement by
GHC Foundation Board Members, lives are enriched, hopes are boosted
and dreams of college educations are promised well into the future.
