Achieving the Dream at Grays Harbor College


Grays Harbor College is proud to be an Achieving the Dream College. Achieving the Dream (AtD), Inc. is a national nonprofit that is dedicated to helping more community college students, particularly low-income students of color stay in school and earn a college certificate or degree. The goal of AtD is to increase student success by promoting strategic college-level decision-making that is informed by the use of concrete data. Grays Harbor College is funded to participate in AtD by College Spark a nonprofit group in Washington that funds programs across the state to help low-income students become college ready and earn their degrees.

Grays Harbor College is currently in the final year of the grant. At present, the College is engaged in five identified AtD interventions as part of an overall College Success Plan to improve student retention and success. Each intervention has an implementation plan and through implementation the college hopes to encourage and support students to achieve their goals of college success:
