• Request Official Transcripts
  Transcripts are required from your high school or GED and any previous colleges if you are transferring to GHC. Have your transcripts sent directly to the Grays Harbor College Admissions Office, 1620 Edward P. Smith Drive, Aberdeen, WA 98520.
  
  
• Take the College Placement Test (CPT)
  This is an admission requirement. The CPT helps evaluate your skill level so that you can start with the classes you need to be successful. Call (360) 538-4099 to find out the drop-in testing schedule or access the information online at the Counseling, Advising and Testing Center. This is not necessary if you have completed 100 level Math and English classes (or higher) at another college.
  
  
• Sign up for Entry Advising and Registration
  Call the Counseling, Advising and Testing Center at (360) 538-4099 to make an appointment for entry advising, orientation, and registration. View the New Student Orientation to learn about the many programs and services that we have to assist students on their educational journey. If you are looking for job skills, our workforce training programs can prepare you to enter the world of work after just one or two years. In some cases, the training time is even shorter. And, depending on the program, you can earn a college degree, a certificate, or both.
  

Grays Harbor College provides a comprehensive student financial aid program to eligible students. Financial aid is designed to provide assistance when student resources are insufficient to meet the cost of going to college. Aid programs include grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans.

To be eligible to receive financial aid funds, students must have completed high school or GED, be an American citizen or eligible non-citizen, be registered with Selective Service (if required), not owe a repayment on a financial aid grant or be in default on a student loan and be enrolled in a program that leads to a degree or certificate.

All financial aid awards are based on full-time enrollment (12 or more credits). However, aid is available for less than twelve credits. When enrolling for less than 12 credits, aid awards are prorated based on the number of credits.

All students applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Learn more here.
