is my pleasure to send you greetings from Grays
Harbor College. All of us at the college look forward
to helping you achieve a productive and fulfilling

AIRPORT
PICK UP: GHC offers airport pick up service upon request.
Our nearest International airport is Sea-Tac
International Airport located between Seattle and Tacoma.
HOUSING:
There is no dormitory or home stay program. However, housing
information is available. GHC will also help with finding temporary
housing upon request until you find an apartment.
ADVISING:
Each student is assigned a faculty member to advice them in
their area of study. This advisor will help with course selection
during registration, changing class schedules and other transfer
and academic information.
An
advisor is the faculty member to whom a student is assigned
for help in selecting courses at registration, in changing a
schedule, or for general transfer or program information.
BOOKSTORE:
The Bookstore (HUB, 538-4106) offers students the opportunity
to purchase required textbooks, art and school supplies, assorted
gift items, candy, and greeting cards.

BUS
TRANSPORTATION:The Grays Harbor Transit has routes that
reach most residents in the college district and provides a
convenient and inexpensive means of transportation. The college
also subsidizes student costs for transit fees.
COMPUTER SERVICES: Computers are available for drop-in
student use in computer labs and the Library. Students also
have access to an individual GHC e-mail address.
COUNSELING AND CAREER
INFORMATION CENTER:
Comprehensive counseling services are provided in the areas
of academic counseling, career/vocational counseling, and personal
counseling.
FOOD
SERVICE: There is a cafeteria and an espresso stand located
in the HUB.
LIBRARY: The John
Spellman Library is open various hours designed to meet the
needs of the student. See the library
page for current hours.
LOCKERS:
Lockers are available for you to
store your books and personal belongings. Lockers are obtained
on a first come, first serve basis.
LOST AND FOUND: All items lost on campus are turned in
and held at the Admissions and Records Office. Please check
with this office for all lost and found concerns.
SAFETY: Grays Harbor College is a relatively safe place to be;
however, it is subject to the same problems that occur in the
community. Should you be a victim of a crime on campus, please
report to the Vice President for Student Services.

TUTORING: All
students are eligible to receive the free tutoring on campus.
Tutoring hours are flexible to accommodate most schedules.
This program is staffed by students who have successfully completed
the course for which they tutor, have instructor approval and
have been trained in aspects of tutoring. For
