Angel is a Learning Management System. It is a web based application that enables the management and delivery of learning content and resources to students in online or face to face classes.   Classes include full online, hybrid online, and web enhanced courses.    Instructors track grades and post documentation, links, videos, presentations and many other things into an online class to teach students and have them submit assignments, take assessments, and post to discussion forums to complete the work required for the class. EGradebook is a tool designed specifically for GHC instructors. It can save time and energy. It keeps grades constantly tracked and updated, weights grades for you based on categories, emails students their grades with a click of a button, tracks average score for each assignment and test, assigns letter grades automatically and more.

Elluminate is a web conferencing tool. Elluminate allows users to use a virtual room for conferencing. Features such as voting, private chat, white board, and PowerPoint presentations are all incorporated into Elluminate. This software is a great alternative for participants to meet without having to drive or fly to a central location.

Tegrity is a lecture capture software. Tegrity allows instructors to record the computer screen, along with audio and video for students to review at a later time. The Tegrity files are stored on the web for student access.

WebBoard is a tool for increasing communication and disseminating information.

• Student group project collaboration & document sharing.
• Virtual classrooms, office hours, & private discussions.
• Calendar system for managing due dates & deadlines.

WebBoard permits courses to have private asynchronous discussions—so participants can read and post messages at whatever hour of the day they are most productive (for students, this is often after midnight!). WebBoard encourages all students to have a voice, even those who shy away from public speaking.

The WebBoard help system is extensive and clear. We find that most questions are answered with a brief visit to the help section of the site. To access help, click on the word Help in the top menu bar of the WebBoard screen.

Camtasia is screen capture software that records all or part of the monitors display. Camtasia allows the user to create a video based on screen recordings and edit them. Limited Licenses- check for availability!

Dropbox gives you access to your documents where ever you go when connected to the Internet. Dropbox is a great back up for your files. It is easy for students to post their papers for others to edit collaboratively. Sharing files is simple. It only takes a few clicks.

Snagit is screen grab software that grabs images from your computer and converts them to a picture that you can edit. Snag it also has some basic editing tools for manipulating the pictures and drawing on them. Limited Licenses- check for availability!
