The Program:
The mission of the Grays Harbor College natural resources program is to facilitate sustainable natural resource use through education, outreach, research and service. To this end, our academic programs promote interdisciplinary/multicultural understanding, technical-skill development and real-world application in the fields of natural resource management and conservation.
The Grays Harbor College natural resources program offers a variety of degrees and certificate programs that emphasize training in watershed management and assessment, fisheries management and restoration, geographic information systems (GIS) and aquaculture. All degrees and certificates provide students with a flexible education that facilitates both immediate post-graduate employment and/or direct transfer to a variety of 4-year fisheries, natural resource and environmental science programs. All courses are taught by a diverse and enthusiastic group of faculty and staff using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
