Grays Harbor College offers a wide range of courses related to natural resource management and conservation. Courses specifically focus on the understanding of watershed assessment and management, fisheries management and restoration, geographic information systems (GIS) and aquaculture. Course requirements necessary for completion of the Associates of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Natural Resources Technology are described below. Degree Requirements - AAS in Natural Resources The Associates of Applied Science (AAS) degree is made up of a total of 94 credits which are spread across a series of Core, General Education, Supporting and Elective courses. Students must complete all of the requirements listed for the Core, General Education and Supporting Courses. Students must also complete 15 credits in any of the aquaculture, watershed or geographic information systems (GIS) elective tracks. Average time to completion for the AAS degree is two years.
