Adult Basic Education Classes:

BASED 013 Integrated Basic Skills
This will be a six-level, integrated ABE course for advanced ABE students placing in ABE levels 1-6. Non-transfer credit instructional course designed to teach reading, writing, and computational skills to individuals who have a goal to improve basic skills.

ESL 022 Beginning ESL
This will be a three-level, integrated ESL course for beginning ESL students placing in ESL 1-3. Non-transfer course in listening, speaking, reading and writing for limited English-proficient adults with a goal to improve English literacy.

ESL 023 Integrated ESL
This will be a six-level, integrated ESL course for students placing in ESL 1-6. Upon completing this level, an adult will be able to participate effectively and independently in conversations while paying attention to conventions of oral English; read most materials with understanding; convey ideas in writing. Non-transfer credit course in listening, speaking, reading and writing for limited English-proficient adults with a goal to improve English literacy.
