Photoshop Elements 2-Day Workshop

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a very popular software program for editing pictures. It can give that dull picture a snappy look, or crop out the unwanted parts of a photo leaving the important subject. You can even exchange a head in a group photo making sure everyone in a picture has a great expression. This workshop will explore these procedures and more. We will start with the basics and move right into the fun stuff. You will need a laptop with Adobe Elements loaded onto it. Pictures for experimenting and practice will be provided during the first session. Bring your ideas and lots of questions.

Photoshop Series 2
Photoshop is the standard tool for editing digital photos. This class will start with Bridge, a program that comes with Photoshop as an organizer. Bridge also allows for some editing. The second week we will explore the RAW workspace. Even if you don’t shoot in RAW it’s possible to use the RAW workspace for your initial workflow. Today, many photographers do 90% of their editing by combing Bridge and the RAW Workspace. Then we will explore the different options in Photoshop itself: cut and paste, combining images, dodging and burning, creating different looks, and etc. A lot of the ideas for the classes are student driven. Photos will be provided for practice along with work sheets. At the end of the course you should have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and a good workflow.
