Over the last several months the Smoking Task Force has been working on developing a new smoking policy for Grays Harbor College.  The Task Force, which is comprised of students, faculty, classified staff and exempt employees, presented their recommendations to the E-team.  At the board meeting last Tuesday, the new smoking policy was approved (see attached policy).

The main points of the new smoking policy are:

  1. Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas or in parking lots (no smoking in childcare lot).  See attached map for designated smoking areas.

  2. This policy applies to the main campus and off campus sites.
