Grays Harbor College was awarded a five-year Strengthening Institutions grant by the Department of Education beginning October 2004. The grant provides us the opportunity to focus on four key areas:

1. Development & improvement of programs and services that support and enhance student success such as the GHC Learning Center

2. Development & improvement of programs and services that help students successfully transition from one level of coursework to the next

3. Faculty development activities such as training, curriculum design & revision, and sponsoring guest speakers

4. Support of research & assessment activities that enhance programmatic assessment at GHC and assist with Title III activities
