Challenge life All-Stars of Alaska
|
| Description: |
The Athletic Department at GHC will be hosting an ALL-STAR team from the state of Alaska! This team has been coming to play in the spring at a couple host sites in the past. These spring trips have been open to all NWAACC and other coaches as showcases for these players. Last year at the spring event I noticed a good player in the girls game that eventually led to Mr. Pringle signing that girl and 3 others from Alaska.
Due to the success of the last trip in the spring, the foundation has decided to do another trip in the fall of this year. This trip will be a little different however. The foundation has decided to pay for these student-athletes (about 40) to come down to WA and play the 3 colleges that showed the most interest in the spring. These will be private sessions where the teams come and play exclusively for that college. This is intended to give the colleges that offered the most opportunity for their athletes last spring an early exclusive look at this year’s Seniors from the state of Alaska.
At 11 AM on Nov 18th, the Challenge Life ALL-STARS of ALASKA, will be here to scrimmage for the GHC coaching staff. They will also be around campus checking things out. Come on by if you are interested in watching or greeting these Senior HS students from Alaska.
