Today Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 2 million members and 1,200 chapters located in all 50 of the United States, U.S. territories, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, United Arab Emirates and Palau. Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold: 1) recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and (2) provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming. You may have already heard that due to the number of students walking for graduation this year, we have decided to rent tents and hold the ceremony outside between the HUB and the gym.  Parking on upper campus is limited, so we have asked students to park on lower campus after dropping off their guests.  I am requesting that if it’s possible for GHC staff to park on lower campus, I would appreciate that also.  We will have vans that will be shuttling those who park on lower campus and need a ride up the hill.
