Japanese Media Club
Description: The weekly meeting of the Japanese Media Club.  We will enjoy, watch and learn about many forms of Japanese Media.

Grays Harbor Symphony Rehearsal
Description: Rehearsals for the Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra take place on Mondays, beginning on September 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Music Pavilion on the Grays Harbor College campus in Aberdeen.

William Dyer, music instructor at the College, conducts the community orchestra and encourages all interested musicians to contact him about joining the group. The orchestra’s website is www.ghc.edu/bishop/symphony.htm and Dyer can be reached at bdyer@ghc.edu, (360) 538-4171.

He also notes that the group’s Fall concert will take place on Sunday, November 18, beginning at 7 p.m. The program will feature an evening of symphonic dance selections and guest soloist, pianist and composer Mike Strickland. Career Fair
Description:

The purpose of the GHC Career Fair is to enhance the strong connection between the College, the community, and the businesses and agencies within the community. It will provide students and the public the chance to network with professionals in their career field, gather information about career requirements and expectations and explore career opportunities in Grays Harbor. It will also allow businesses to promote themselves and connect with their future workforce. Tables will be provided for businesses and agencies to set up in the commons area of the Hillier Union Building allowing them easy access to visit with interested students and visitors. This is an informational event, not a hiring event.

Description:

To kick-off "Transfer Month" on campus there is no better way to get students thinking about transferring than to see a campus full of employees wearing their favorite alma mater/GHC apparel. Here is our college visit itinerary for this academic year. Students get a ride to campus, tour, admission presentation and complimentary lunch!

Description:
Get Transfer Month off to a great start with a transfer workshop. Come learn the ins and outs of the transfer process. There are several steps in this process such as
  • Choosing your major
  • Finding transfer institutions that offer your major
  • Taking the appropriate classes at Grays Harbor College for a smooth transfer
  • Learn how and when to apply.
  • Find out about FAFSA deadlines and scholarship opportunities.
