Flagger Certification Class
The flagger training course is from the ATSSA curriculum. It will give you the opportunity to work as a certified flagger and be listed on the National Flagger Database as well as certification valid for three (3) years in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. When that certification is renewed, you will be also renewed on the National database.
As a trained flagger, you will be able to establish proper warning and traffic control in a work zone to assure the safety of workers’ and to ensure traffic moves safely and consistently.
Registration Fee: $75. Registration fee includes book and flagger certification cards.
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Non-refundable for no-shows. A refund (minus the $6.48 processing fee) will be given for students who withdraw no later than the day before the flagger class. There is a required minimum of 10 students per class. If enrollment is less than 10 by the Wednesday before the class starts, class will be cancelled and students will be contacted. Students will then get an option of a full refund of $75 or be moved into the next flagger class.
Course Requirements
- Pre-registration is required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have picture ID.
- Must pass test with 80% or better to obtain certification. Must pay in full to retake.
- Must arrive no later than 7:45 am to be admitted. Entrance is prohibited after 8 am.
