Covid-19: Instructions for Employees Visiting a GHC Campus

Category 1: Instructions for employees who are engaged in regular, on-campus work.

Examples include faculty teaching on-campus classes, faculty accessing their offices daily/weekly, support staff scheduled by a supervisor to work on campus.

Prior to Returning to a GHC Campus for regular work:

  1. Work with your supervisor to make sure you fall into the "regular on-campus" work category, if this is needed to effectively do their job. AND, make a plan with your supervisor whereby he/she is aware of the times/days when you plan to be on campus. (Note: If you are an occasional visitor, see below.)
  2. Fill out the Campus Access Form with your recurring schedule. Your visit is automatically approved, as long as your building is scheduled to be open on the day(s) requested. If you need to come to campus on a day when your building will be closed, your department head will need to approve.
  3. Review the Campus Reopening Guide and take note of requirements.

Each time you visit a GHC Campus:

  1. Check the building schedule to ensure the building you are accessing is open on the day of the week that you are planning to go to campus.
  2. Complete the Employee Check-in Form (health self-assessment screening) prior to arrival on campus. You should only go to campus if NO symptoms are present.
  3. Limit your visit to the location(s) essential to do your job. (If you need to go elsewhere on campus, this should be discussed with your supervisor in advance.)
  4. Wear a mask when indoors whenever you not in a private office with the door closed. Those who work in multi-person offices should continue to wear a mask at all times. No mask is required if outdoors and a minimum 6’ distance is maintained. (If an accommodation to the mask requirement is needed, please contact stephanie.noland@ghc.edu.)
