Covid-19: Instructions for Students/Guests to a GHC Campus

Category 1: Instructions for students who are engaged in regular, on-campus work (such as students with a scheduled on-campus class).

Prior to your first class meeting:

  1. Check your Canvas shell for instructions as to specifically where and when your class will meet. Once those instructions have been provided, please be sure to follow them carefully.
  2. Review the Campus Reopening Guide and take note of requirements.

Each time you visit a GHC Campus:

  1. Review the Health Assessment Checklist (health self-assessment screening) prior to arrival on campus. You should only go to campus if NO symptoms are present. When you arrive on campus, you will be required to sign in stating you have reviewed the checklist and have no symptoms.
  2. Limit your visit to the location(s) designated by your instructor. Access to buildings is limited, and you will be allowed entry no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your class. (if you need to go elsewhere on campus, this should be discussed with the instructional site-manager in advance lucas.rucks@ghc.edu.)
  3. Wear a mask when indoors and use any other PPE required by your course. No mask is required if outdoors and a minimum 6’ distance is maintained. (If an ADA accommodation to the mask requirement is needed, please contact accessibility@ghc.edu, or by calling 360-538-4099. Accommodations will take time to be processed, please submit requests as soon as possible).

Category 2: Instructions for students/guests who are occasional visitors to campus.

Each time you visit a GHC Campus:

  1. Make sure you have a designated appointment with a college employee. You should not go on campus unless you have been approved by someone who works for the college.
  2. Complete the Campus Access Form (including a health self-assessment screening) prior to arrival on campus. You should only go to campus if NO symptoms are present.
  3. Review the Campus Reopening Guide and take note of requirements.
  4. Wear a mask when indoors whenever you not in a private office with the door closed. Those who work in multi-person offices should continue to wear a mask at all times. No mask is required if outdoors and a minimum 6’ distance is maintained. (If an accommodation to the mask requirement is needed, please contact accessibility@ghc.edu, or by calling 360-538-4099.)
  5. Only visit those location(s) where you are approved to visit.
