GHC Foundation - Donor Resources

Since 1963, the Grays Harbor College Foundation has been partnering donor’s and their giving priorities with Grays Harbor College to ensure students achieve their educational goals and that Grays Harbor College can fulfill its mission of providing meaningful education and cultural enrichment through academic transfer, workforce preparation, basic skills, and service to community.

Online Giving

Gifts of any size can be made to the Foundation through our secure web portal. You may direct your one-time or recurring donation toward any of our established funds or dedicate it to a new one.

Types of Gifts

There are numerous ways to invest in GHC that suits your philanthropic goals and financial circumstances. Whether it is through  endowments, real estate, life insurance, securities, or cash, your tax deductible gift helps the Foundation to provide students with a quality educational experience and to support the academic environment at GHC.

Bill of Rights

The Donor Bill of Rights ensures that philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. The Donor Bill of Rights was created by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Giving Institute: Leading Consultants to Non-Profits. It has been endorsed by numerous organizations.

Important Year-End Giving Deadlines

To receive a gift receipt for 2018, all contributions must be received at the GHC Foundation before 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2018. For all gifts received through US Mail, the envelope must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2018. Contact your tax advisor to see if your year-end gift qualifies as a charitable deduction.

Honorary and Memorial Gifts

Honorary and memorial gifts recognize others through gifts you make to the Grays Harbor College Foundation. Gifts in memory or in honor of a family member, teacher, student or friend are generous and thoughtful ways to remember a person's life and his or her accomplishments. Any gift can be made in honor or in memory of someone by simply indicating that intention on the donation form.
