Custodial Work Study

Job Description

  • To assist the GHC custodial team with daily cleaning, kitchen floor cleaning, event setup/tear down, pressure washing, window cleaning, outside garage collection and other necessary duties.

Typical Duties

  • Custodial duties including vacuuming, sweeping, emptying garbage cans, dusting, mopping, and other custodial duties as needed
  • Sanitizing, disinfecting and wiping of areas on campus
  • Event duties include moving chairs, tables, other furniture and stage setup
  • Kitchen duties include cleaning floor mats, sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, product restocking and other duties as needed
  • Empty outside garbage cans

Employee Qualifications

  • Good physical health
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Positive attitude
  • Driver’s License required


  • Starts at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
