Dr. Jim Minkler, President of Grays Harbor College, has announced a nation-wide search for the next Vice President for Instruction at Grays Harbor College. The Vice President serves at the will of the President and is the chief academic officer. The position provides vision, leadership, planning, development, assessment, and administrative direction for a comprehensive array of educational programs designed to enhance student achievement and ensure the quality of the educational experience.
The Vice President of Instruction is responsible for working with the executive team of the college in building trust, creating a shared vision, and executing the mission of the college. The college seeks an outstanding educational leader committed to higher education, the mission of the comprehensive community college, and student learning.
As the Chief Academic Officer for the college, the Vice President of Instruction represents the Instructional Division on the President’s Executive Team and serves as the college’s liaison to the Instruction Commission under the Washington Community and Technical College Presidents.
