DESCRIPTION:The John Spellman Library at Grays Harbor College is inviting our students and community members to our zine workshops hosted throughout the 2026-2027 school year.\nZines are small\, self-published booklets that combine creativity\, storytelling\, and self-expression. Whether you’re into drawing\, writing\, collage\, photography\, or simply sharing ideas\, zines are a fun and accessible way to create something uniquely your own.\nEach session will begin with a quick “intro to zines” spiel\, then attendees will be set loose to create a zine. Materials are provided; no experience is necessary.\nSessions are once a month and run from 3pm to 5pm.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the opening of Miles Coleman’s incoming exhibition at the Spellman Art Gallery: Embodied/Changing. This exhibition features modular art\, designed to represent the ever-changing concept of embodiment\, particularly through exploration of “the demonization and stigmatization of the trans body and experience”.
