Diesel Students Earn Certificates

Grays Harbor College Diesel Technology students proudly display certificates they earned to demonstrate job-ready skills mastered during their vocational program. The four tests include diesel electrical & electronics systems, diesel engines, steering and suspension, and truck brakes.   GHC students tested above the 50th percentile of the national population of students in all exams in all areas.

Instructor Dave Werner, front left, presented certificates and National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) patches to Brad Dey, Alex Severson and Tahcoy Ibabao, and standing behind, left, Sean Ellefson and James Forbis. Potential employers recognize the ASE certificates as indicating each Diesel Tech graduate is well-qualified to be hired. Not pictured, David Shields.
