The GHC Fitness Facility is open to all current Grays Harbor College students. The facility supports student health, strength training, and overall wellness.
PE Classes
Grays Harbor College offers a variety of Physical Education classes that use the fitness facility. Students can view current PE classes in the class schedule at the following link:
Hours of Operation
Weight room hours may change each month due to athletic team training times. Students should review the most current schedule before visiting the facility. Schedules are posted in the 500 Building and can also be viewed online on the GHC Athletics website. Generally the facility is open 9:00am to 3:30pm Monday- Friday. Closed Saturday and Sundays. The linked calendar is subject to change at any time.
Locker Rooms and Storage
Locker rooms are available for all students and staff. Lockable storage cabinets for your gym equipment/keys are available upon request. Students may contact the Athletics Department to inquire or to sign up for a storage cabinet.
Waiver Requirement
All participants must complete a liability waiver before using the weight room. Students under the age of 18 will be required to have parent signature prior to working out. Waivers can be obtained from Athletic Department staff or from your Physical Education instructor.
Facility Guidelines
All users are asked to help keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming. Please follow all posted signs and instructions. Use equipment safely and as intended. Wipe down equipment after use. Return equipment to its proper place. It is suggested that all users bring their own headphones if they wish to listen to music while working out. During athletic team training times, music may be played in the facility and may be heard by all users in the space. Due to the small facility size, the athletic teams do hold priority of this space.

Students who need accessibility assistance or accommodations may contact Accessibility Services. Staff are available to help and support student access to the facility.
Fitness Lab
The Fitness Lab is located in the 500 building (Gym). Reducing stress, managing weight, and improving physical and mental health are only three of the reasons to take advantage of an opportunity to work out at the Fitness Lab.
The fitness lab is available during the week and the hours vary depending on the class schedule, so check the class schedule before scheduling your workout.
