We offer a wide a variety of programs that are designed to get you to where you want to go. Students come to GHC for our high school completion, transfer, and career and technical education programs. If your goal is to earn your bachelor's degree from a four-year university, then complete your first two years with one of our associate degrees. Or, consider one of GHC’s Bachelor of Applied Science degrees and earn a 4-year degree locally!
For an affordable bachelor's degree, start at Grays Harbor College and transfer to a four-year college or university. Here are the transfer degrees offered at GHC:
- Associate in Arts – Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA): The AA DTA was designed so you can transfer as a junior to all the public and most of the private four-year colleges and universities in Washington State. This is a great option if you plan to major in the arts, humanities, or social sciences.
- Associate in Arts - Native Pathways - Direct Transfer to Evergreen: Tailored for residents of tribal communities in Western Washington, this degree leads directly into The Evergreen State College's Native Pathways BA program, with most GHC courses available online.
- Associate in Biology - Direct Transfer: Designed for students with a passion for biology, this degree is your gateway to upper-division Bachelor's degrees in Biology.
- Associate in Business - Direct Transfer: If you're considering a business degree, this program ensures you transfer with junior standing, setting you on the path to a rewarding career.
- Associate in Construction Management - Direct Transfer: Ideal for those preparing for majors in Construction Management, this program aligns with accredited majors at Central Washington University, Washington State University, and the University of Washington.
- Associate in Music - Direct Transfer: Tailored for music enthusiasts, this program is a great fit for those intending to major in music at a four-year college or university.
- Associate in Nursing - Direct Transfer: This dual-purpose degree qualifies graduates for the registered nursing licensure exam and opens doors to complete a Bachelor of Science, Nursing at any accepting university in WA State.
- Associate in Pre-Nursing - Direct Transfer: This program was designed for students hoping to transfer as juniors into an upper division Bachelor of Science, Nursing program.
- Associate in Science - Direct Transfer (Track 1): The Associate in Science Track 1 prepares students to study in specific majors, including Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Resource Sciences, Chemistry, Geology, and Earth Science.
- Associate in Science - Direct Transfer (Track 2): The Associate in Science Track 2 prepares students to study in specific majors, including Biological and Chemical Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Industrial, and Material Science Engineering, and Physics.

These costs are calculated as general rate at three quarters assuming full-time enrollment (45 credits) for first two years of undergrad program (please note, some schools are on a semester cycle). Some fees may vary based on cost of materials for the specific courses required. All costs at other colleges/universities are for the 2024-25 academic year and come from in-state costs and fees published on each university's website as of December 21, 2023.
