The Hazmat Certification course is designed for CDL drivers to obtain their hazardous materials (hazmat) endorsement.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS CERTIFICATION

2-Day Class

Saturday and Sunday, February 14 & 15, 2026

8 AM to 5 PM

LOCATION: Satsop Business Park, CDL Classroom

COST: $300.00 (plus Eventbrite Registration Fees)

DESCRIPTION: The Hazardous Materials Endorsement course provides instruction for any driver seeking to obtain, renew, and transfer a hazardous materials endorsement on a state-issued commercial driver’s license. Class follows the hazardous material endorsement training curriculum defined in C.F.R. Appendix E to Part 380. Includes a section on “Truckers Against Trafficking.” Students must complete all portions of the training within one year of completing the first portion and pass all exams to receive their endorsement.

MATERIALS: Provided Electronically. Please provide a valid email during registration to ensure attendance in the class

REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a valid WA State Commercial Learner’s Permit or WA State Driver’s License with a Class A, B, or C endorsement. Must be 18 years of age. Must have a valid email address.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS: This class will be delivered in person. Please bring a device such as a laptop, tablet, or phone to access materials. Materials, including the test, are administered via Microsoft Office or Google Docs. A unique, valid email address is required for each participant at the time of registration.

This is a 2 day class (16 class hours). Both days are 8am to 5pm, with a lunch break, and testing is on the second day. Please bring a packed lunch or plan to go off campus for lunch.

Once the test is completed and scored, passing students will receive their certification. A valid WA State Driver’s license with Class A, B, or C endorsement or Permit Number will need to be provided to receive the Hazardous Materials Endorsement.

Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. The class is non-refundable. Registration ends at 4:00 pm on the Thursday before class.

Please note that this class needs at least 6 students to run. All fees will be reimbursed to original payment method if the class is cancelled due to low enrollment.
