Where are you from?
I am from Aberdeen, Washington.
What is your major, and what led you to choose it?
I am studying to become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I chose this field because I want to help people feel more confident with their smile. I have always been interested in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and I enjoy learning how it can make a positive impact on others.
What has been your favorite class so far, and why?
My favorite class has been Biology because Tim Plagge has been a fantastic Professor to learn from. It helped me develop new skills and gave me a deeper understanding of my field.
What hobbies, interests, or personal pastimes are you involved in?
In my free time, I enjoy doing security for the Seahawks and meeting all the players. These activities help me stay balanced and give me opportunities to connect with others.
What’s something people are often surprised to learn about you?
People are often surprised to learn that I do security for professional sports teams and music artists in Seattle.
What are your future educational and/or career goals?
My future goal is to enroll in the Dentistry program at University of Washington to pursue a career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I hope to continue learning and developing professionally while making a positive impact in my community and career field.
What advice would you give to future students?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help, get involved on campus, and take advantage of opportunities outside the classroom. The connections and experiences you gain can be just as valuable as what you learn in class.

I would like to recognize my professors for their encouragement, guidance, and support throughout my educational journey.
What is your favorite season, and why?
My favorite season is summer because all the fun outdoor activities with friends and family.
What is your favorite movie, artist, or type of music?
My favorite person is Elon Musk because the companies he owns are advancing technology for the human race.
Is there a historical figure who inspires you? If so, who and why?
Leonardo da Vinci inspires me because he was very talented in an array of subjects. Their contributions and perseverance motivate me to pursue my goals.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am involved in PTK honors society (Regional President), PTK Beta Iota (Public Relations Officer), Student Government (Vice President for Diversity and Awareness), volunteering at the Montesano Foodbank, and Chess Club (president). These experiences have helped me build leadership skills, friendships, and professional connections.
