Each year, Grays Harbor College recognizes the students who graduate with the top GPA in the class. Graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Benny Anderson is one of the top scholars in the Class of 2026.

What was your favorite class at GHC and why?

I liked English 101 with Darby Cavin because of how he helped me finally understand grammar and how much I learned from the class. A close second is Chemistry with Dan Nogales.

What are your future educational and/or career goals?

I want to find a career that I will love and will help me help my community and family.

What advice would you give to future students?

Don’t procrastinate your work, it is very easy to get behind.

Would you like to recognize anyone for supporting your educational journey?

I would like to thank my parents for always encouraging me and loving me.

Is there any other information that you would like to share?

I am planning on serving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints for 2 years in Lima, Peru.
