Summary Job Description
As a Custodial Associate, the student will assist the full time Custodial crew with setups, teardowns, and assorted daily cleaning tasks.
Typical Duties
- Cleaning of public areas/classrooms- wiping down tables, emptying trash/recycle, sweeping, dust mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping doors, washing windows etc.
- Setups/Teardowns- moving tables/chairs, adjusting movable walls, adjusting portable stage sections, dust mopping, spot mopping, vacuuming, wiping down tables, emptying trash/recycle, etc.
- Stocking- Moving supplies from the shipping bay to the storage area, moving supplies from storage to various buildings, restocking machines, etc.
Qualifications
- Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment needed for using various chemical cleaners
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
