Work with instructor to perform shop and clerical duties as requested by instructor to support the diesel tech program objectives
Typical Duties
- Organization and cleaning
- Give ideas for updates or storage solutions
- Filing and scanning
- Shop equipment maintenance
- Safety and hazard compliance
- Keep yard tidy
- Move, and prepare parts for storage
- Prep for hands on demonstrations
Qualifications
- Experience having a job and performing it well
- Organization skills
- Self-starter, able to understand instruction and work independently
- Prefer Diesel tech student but could take an industrial tech student
- Finish at least 1 quarter in diesel or Industrial tech
- Able to quickly learn new skills including office management and equipment maintenance
- Able to lift 35 pounds
