Summary Job Description
Position will perform duties related to maintenance, grounds, and motorpool.
Typical Duties
- weeding of flower beds
- mowing/weed eating lawns
- brush and debris removal
- power washing buildings/sidewalks
- perform safety checks on and cleaning of motorpool vans
- safety checks on fire extinguishers, AEDs, eyewash stations and first aid kits
- repainting of parking lot lines and curbs
- Drive campus vehicles vehicles on-campus Only to complete tasks
Qualifications
- Possess a valid WA. State driver’s license
- able to complete the Van Safety course
- be punctual and presentable
- general knowledge of hand tools and small power tools
- able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- must be eligible for Financial Aid
- must be available during the hours of 8am to 3pm Monday through Friday
