Parking Enforcement Liaison/Motor Pool Attendant

Summary Job Description

The Parking Enforcement Liaison ensures college policies related to safety; security and parking are enforced; and works with campus departments to promote compliance with safety, security and parking rules and regulations.

Typical Duties

  • Patrolling all campus parking areas and perimeters by foot/vehicle
  • Observing parking and traffic patterns for violations
  • Issuing warnings for said violations
  • Assist campus motorist with emergencies.
  • Direct visitors to parking areas and offices
  • Perform monthly inspections of safety equipment (AEDs, Fire Extinguisher, etc.)
  • Performing inspections on and cleaning of campus motor pool vehicles
  • Cleaning parking areas of trash and debris
  • Assisting with special events
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned

Employee Qualifications

  • BE ON TIME
  • Student must be in good academic standing.
  • Must be eligible for Financial Aid.
  • Must be available Mon-Thur, 8am-3pm – split-shift ok
  • Possess good customer service skills.
  • Possess a clear, calm mind.
  • Be able to stay calm in tense situations.
  • Valid WA. State driver’s license
  • Complete the Van Driver Safety class

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrolled in 6 Credits or More
  • Must be Meeting Standard Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Federal/State Financial Aid processed and awarded in ctcLink
  • Have room in unmet Federal/Cost of Attendance Need money – $2500 Maximum per quarter
