" Continuation of MEDAS 110 with medical work building, roots, prefixes, suffixes, and human physiology. Terms are related to body systems: nervous system, senses, integumentary system, immune, urinary system, endocrine, reproductive. Terms used in written and verbal communication by Medical Assistants and other healthcare providers are highlighted Course work includes pronunciation, spelling, and abbreviations. 5 lecture hours. Vocational program course. May be used as a general elective in the AA degree. "

Prerequisite: Completion of MEDAS 110 with a grade of "B-" or better.
