This course is a continuation of PHYS& 222. Topics include electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics. 5 lecture hours; 2 lab hours. Satisfies specified elective requirement for the AA degree.
Course Prerequisites: 
Prerequisites: PHYS& 222 and MATH& 163 or instructor permission.
Course Outcomes: 
  • To provide a rigorous foundation in physics needed for further work in science and engineering.
  • To develop critical thinking and problem solving skills students will need for further work in science and engineering.
