Professional Vocational Relationships

Optional, study course designed for nursing students to fulfill the requirements of the ?Law as it relates to nursing practice in Washington State? curriculum for approved nursing education program. This section of the Law requires nursing students interested in practical nursing to examine the legal and regulatory frameworks of practical nursing. This course presents concepts of effective communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork strategies. Students successfully completing this course that can be deemed safe to practice in clinical environments- as attested by nursing program administrator- are qualified to apply for licensure as a practical nurse in Washington State.
