Grays Harbor College’s Spellman Library hosts the 25th annual Fall Art Gala in the Spellman Library gallery. The exhibit can be viewed now through December 7 and an opening reception takes place on Friday (Nov 3) from 6 to 8 p.m.

This year’s show is dedicated to Harbor artist Bev King Lufkin, founding organizer of the annual art show who died in July of this year. Always an important show to her, she submitted her work last May to make sure she would be participating for the 25th year. Her watercolors were primarily outdoor scenes and vistas from around the world, but most often of the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to artworks by Lufkin, other participating artists include J K Beauvais, Matthew Coyle, Julie Daniels, Arlene Eubanks, Judy Horn, Ken Hunt, Patricia Jollimore, Kimmi Kerns, Brent Knott, Susan LaMadrid, Loni Lou LaQuill, Carrie L. Larson, Joan Lohr, Stuart D. May, Ivy M. Moyer, Douglas C. Orr, Brenda S. Peterson, Erik Sandgren, E. Schroll, Cara Beth Stevenson, Andrea Vingo, Larry J. Walden and Ron Westman.

Friday’s reception is open to the public. The art exhibit may also be viewed during regular Library hours, which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursdays until 6 p.m.; Fridays until 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
