Are you interested in equity and justice? Looking for a safe space to discuss current issues? Want to see change at a policy level? Apply for the Guided Pathways IDEAL Fellowship!  This virtual fellowship is open to students attending Grays Harbor College, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Bellevue College, Yakima Valley College, or South Puget Sound Community College.

Apply by 12/9 at bit.ly/Winter23IDEALApp.

The fellowship begins in February 2023 and ends in April 2023, with six sessions scheduled every other Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. IDEAL Fellows may receive a $1,000 stipend.

In IDEAL, you will hear from Dr. Jeremiah Sims, guest speakers and each other to engage in critical equity discussions and analysis. IDEAL holds a safe and welcoming space to discuss topics like white supremacy, racialized capitalism, equity, justice, and love. Students will also work in teams to identify a policy or practice on campus that is negatively impacting students and will go through a guided process to collect data, deeply understand the issue and make recommendations for change to their campus leadership. You do not need to have any experience doing equity work to apply for IDEAL.
