Championship Bound

We have a couple of sports competing in Championship Tournaments this week.

Men’s Wrestling

Our Men’s Wrestling Team recently won their third straight, NCWA NW Conference Championship.  The Chokers outscored 2nd place WSU 180.5 to 137. Grays Harbor had Champions in 8 weight classes.

The Chokers are sending 19 wrestlers to the NCWA National Tournament this week in Allen, Texas

Women’s Basketball

The Women’s Basketball team opens the NWAC Championship Tourney Thursday night at 6pm at Everett Community College. The West Region Champs will face the Big Bend Vikings, the number 4 seed from the East Region. With a victory Thursday night, the Chokers will face the winner of the Clackamas vs Everett game on Friday night with another 6pm start. We are having a sendoff rally for the ladies tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2pm in the gym. Hot dogs and water will be provided.
