The Tony-award winning Broadway hit, Company, will open at the Bishop center on Friday, March 3, 2023 launching a two-weekend run.

“This production is incredibly unique, featuring hilarious scenes, intricate music, bold scenic design, and a supremely talented cast and crew” said theater director Andrew Gaines.

Set on the night of his 35th birthday in 1970, confirmed bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks, and even a wedding, Bobby's friends share the pros and cons of taking on a spouse, forcing him to question his defense of singlehood.

Stephen Sondheim's Company is largely regarded as a trailblazer of the dark-comedy, modern-musical genre, and features a brilliantly brisk and energetic score containing many of the composer's best-known songs.

Company runs March 3-5 and 10-12 at the Bishop center for Performing Arts. Curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children under age 12 (some material is inappropriate for children). Tickets are available in advance at ghc.edu/bishop or by calling 360-538-4066. You can also buy them at the door, but that is not recommended as lines can be long.
