GHC Foundation Awards $174,000

The Grays Harbor College Foundation has finalized its summer scholarship cycle, awarding an additional $174,000 in support for the 2022-2023 academic year.

“Thanks to our incredibly generous donors and the excellent stewardship of donor gifts by our Board of Directors, 127 students received scholarships to support their academic journey at GHC,” shares Lisa J. Smith, Executive Director.

Scholarships provide more than financial support to offset the cost of attending college, covering tuition, fees, and/or books. Smith explains, “Scholarships are providing students with a sense of moral support, knowing that someone they have never met has invested in their education and future. This combination of support reinvigorates students to succeed in their academic pursuits.”
