Men's Basketball

The Grays Harbor College Men’s Basketball team was scheduled to play on Saturday, March 7th in the NWAC (Northwest Athletic Conference) Tournament being hosted at Everett Community College.  For now, the much anticipated game for GHC’s Choker Basketball Team is on hold as the tournament has been cancelled for the rest of the week. 

The Tournament started yesterday and one game between Women NWAC teams had already been played when it was discovered an Everett CC student had tested positive for COVID-19.  The decision was made to not continue the tournament at Everett, so the tournament is postponed.   At this time, Everett Community College has no evidence that places the student(s) with the health issue in the Walt Price Center/Gymnasium. 

NWAC is exploring options and alternative sites are being considered so tournament play can resume next week.   Grays Harbor College will update the community via its web site and social media when we have additional information.  

Women's Softball

The women's softball tournament scheduled for this weekend at the RAC in Lacey has also been canceled.
