Pell Grant Funding Now Available Year Round

What does that Mean?

Students may now receive up to 4 quarters of full-time Pell Grant funds in one school year.

How Do I Qualify?

Pell Grant eligibility is determined by your financial aid application (FAFSA). Funding begins when you’re registered for at least 3 credits. If you’re a Pell eligible student and attend summer quarter, you no longer have to worry about running out of Pell Grant funds by spring. Funding is now available year round!

How Do I Access the Funds?

The Financial Aid office will automatically award 4 quarters of Pell Grant funding if you are attending summer quarter and meet eligibility requirements.

What's the Catch?

If you receive summer Pell funding and attend summer, fall, and winter quarters fulltime, then you must take at least 6 credits during the spring term to qualify for spring Pell. That's it!
